Resources for Fourth and Fifth Grade

Activities

Use this worksheet, Outer Me Inner Me, to help kids think about how they think others see them, and what they know about themselves that can't be seen.

Have kids fill out this worksheet to get them thinking critically about how, or if, there is diversity in the media they consume.

Help kids understand that families have different structures and this makes for a stronger community. This activity will help them reflect on their family and what makes it special. (the website Learning for Justice has lots of helpful resources)

What does compassion mean to you and how do you give it to others?

What does it mean to stand up for someone? Have you had an opportunity to do it?

How do I live, work, and play with people when we have differences?
